Bellco Cellector Sieve Homogenizers
The Stainless Steel Homogenizer Cellector Tissue Sieve is designed to make single cell suspensions from tissue pieces. It has also been used to fragment polyacrylamide gels to recover antibodies. The process is similar to using a mortar & pestle to reduce a solid sample to a powder. The sieve cup comes in two sizes; 85mL or 130mL. The screens are held in place by a retaining ring that is tightened using the screen replacement key. The screens are stainless steel with different mesh sizes and have a diameter of 37mm. The Cellector Complete consists of the following; pan, glass pestle, key & nine screens (one each) 10 to 150 mesh sizes. Items can also be purchased separately.
